As a software developer, I started off with little to no knowledge about the coding frameworks used by SoCash. Despite this, I was able to pick up the essential skills and make notable contributions within a week's time. Working in a start-up environment, I have also contributed in other areas like quality assurance and marketing. Through this experience, I now well recognize the importance of individuals working at their maximum efficiency in start-ups. Furthermore, I managed to overcome my limitation of overcommiting myself. I have learned and honed my technical, non-technical and interpersonal skills through this experience. More importantly, I now understand how start-ups work and what a start-up environment is like.
